Modeling Lead, Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm University, Sweden

Dr. Emilie Lindkvist is a sustainability scientist interested in aspects of sustainability and resilience of social-ecological systems through a combination of case studies and agent-based modeling. She uses this approach to understand the interactions between equity, well-being, and sustainability in small-scale coastal fisheries in Mexico, Tanzania, and more recently through the TEMPO project French Polynesia. In the TEMPO project, she will use models to investigate the conditions under which different closure designs may lead to more or less successful outcomes in terms of both social and ecological outcomes. She will use agent-based modeling to explore both spatial (where and how much) and temporal (when, for how long) design combinations for analyzing outcomes and how they might respond to slow and fast change.
