Master’s Student, Environmental Anthropology

Paige Sliney is a master’s student at San Diego State University in Environmental Anthropology. Her research focuses on local and indigenous marine management practices in French Polynesia. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersection of indigenous knowledge and ideas about how our contemporary understanding of science informs notions of success.

Paige has a BA in Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz.
